Phoenix Singles

Christ Church made a commitment more than 20 years ago to help persons dealing with divorce or widowhood to get on with their lives in a safe, Christian environment. Since then the ministry as served tens of thousands of individuals. 

A cornerstone of the singles ministry is the divorce adjustment workshops and widow/widower workshops scheduled throughout the year. The singles ministry also offers workshops, classes, activities, and special groups for single parents, widows and widowers, those newly single wanting gentle support, and singles younger than 50.

Our Purpose

• To provide a Christian atmosphere where single people may join together in a spirit of friendship and brotherly love.
• To provide the opportunity for single people to openly discuss their common interests and concerns and to seek Christian understanding.
• To provide activities in which single people may make new friends and enjoy fellowship with other singles.
• To provide support to Christ United Methodist Church.
• To provide opportunities for single Christians to serve God through the church and in the community.
• To provide a variety of opportunities to help singles become deeply-committed, fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
• To help singles in the community find and follow Jesus Christ.
